6. God is life, eternal and universal, in infinite time and space. He is all that is, and there is no other god but God. All is in him, and nothing exists outside him. And therefore every existence is a manifestation of his life, and every life at birth comes not out of nonexistence but out of him, and at death does not cease to exist but returns to him.
From La Vie éternelle, passée, présente, future · reworded by Tolstoy (more).
What changed“It no more comes from nothingness into birth than it returns thereto after death” is spelled out: every life at birth comes “out of him” and at death “returns to him”; the reason, that it “partakes of eternity and universal being, which is God,” is left out.
Source text: archive.orgIn English · Fred Rothwell, 1920God is the one eternal, universal life in the infinitude of time and space, throughout the ages as well as every moment of life, in all the worlds as well as in the tiniest atom.
He is all that is : none other than He is God ; He has no rival ; there is no other God than God ; there is only one God.
He is the one eternal, universal life ; consequently, all existence is a manifestation of His ; it no more comes from nothingness into birth than it returns thereto after death, for it partakes of eternity and universal being, which is God.

Enfantin's four-article creed, shortened and with its last clause recast. The second half of the third article, on hell, purgatory, and paradise as the evil, the progressive, and the good life of each being within God, is left out, and so are 'dans tous les siècles comme dans chaque instant, dans tous les mondes comme dans chaque atome'. Enfantin says each existence 'ne sort pas plus du néant par la naissance qu'elle n'y retourne par la mort' (no more comes out of nothingness at birth than it returns to it at death), because it shares in the eternity that is God; the Russian makes it come at birth «из него» (from him) and at death return «к нему» (to him). «И потому» (and therefore) joins the articles where Enfantin repeats 'donc'.
