Not found. The Jubilee name index lists «Д’Эшерни — т. 41: 284» with no description. The name is probably that of François-Louis d'Escherny, the d'Escherny of Neuchâtel whom Rousseau names in the Confessions, Book XII, and the author of Mélanges de littérature, de morale et de philosophie (1811, three volumes), which was not found online in a searchable text. No French form of the saying ('religion is from God, theology from men') was found.
