The Jubilee vol. 42 name index, which gives dates and identities for the signatures, lists no one for this entry: it lists Arkhangelsky (Бука) at vol. 41, pp. 76, 233, 269, 294, 336, 497 and 536, while April 27 falls on pp. 285–286 (its sixth entry, Epictetus, is indexed at 286), and the commentary does not mention the signature. The thought (in a quarrel both are always to blame, in whatever degree, since a quarrel can no more flare up against one blameless party than a match can strike on a perfectly smooth surface such as a mirror) is not in Arkhangelsky's «Кому служить?», which holds his other two April entries. The unsigned entry before it on the same day, «Если между двумя людьми есть вражда, то виноваты оба», states the same idea.
